Because families should not fight DIPG alone.
Give families HOPE in 2018
At Gabriella’s Smile Foundation we have made it our mission to help families of children fighting brain cancer our priority and focus in all we do. We believe that families fighting cancer shouldn’t do it alone. As we approach the end of the year, please consider Gabriella’s Smile Foundation for your year-end giving... we kicked off our campaign on #GivingTuesday, November 28, 2017.
Since 2016 we have helped 24 families financially. Each of these families received a $500 financial grant check from our foundation. This check is a no strings attached gift for families can use it anyway they need. Next year we have increased our grant amount so that new families applying will receive a $750 check.
For some of these families, the check helped them pay a bill. For other families, the check helped them with some of the medical co-pays or travel expenses they’ve incurred. For Antonia’s family, it has helped with the money needed for her to go to Mexico and receive experimental treatment being given to DIPG kids this year. Families receiving treatment in Mexico are needing to raise at least $15,000 dollars per treatment to pay out of pocket for the procedures received there.
Would you be willing to make a special year-end donation to fund one of our grants and ensure we can continue helping families financially? You can also choose to become a monthly donor to support our financial grants for next year. We simply can’t do this without you. Your support will make a real, lasting impact in the lives of those who are fighting for the life of their child and in financial need.
We need your help to make it happen. We want to raise funds to cover a minimum of twelve grants for next year.
Donations made to Gabriella’s Smile Foundation on #GIvingTuesday and through the end of 2017 will go towards funding these grants for next year and can be made on our website.
We are committed to helping families, funding research and raising awareness of DIPG which still has a two year zero percent survival rate . Together we are #STRONGERthandipg.
