Gabriella’s Smile Foundation is committed to raising
awareness for pediatric cancer. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Gold in September, also known as the G9 campaign, was created by an 11 year old little girl whose twin brother was
battling pediatric cancer. Annie Bartosz saw the nation turn pink in October for Breast Cancer and became determined to turn the world Gold in September for kids battling cancer. The loss of our own
daughter has inspired us to do the same.
We encourage you to Go Gold this month! San Antonio
Mayor Ron Nirenberg has signed an official proclamation for San Antonio designating September 28 as Gold Out Day. We encourage fellow San Antonians and
surrounding communities to wear gold on this day. Our foundation has official Gold Out T-Shirts that we are selling all month which were designed by local artist and John Marshall High School
student, Reena Vela.
Let's turn San Antonio GOLD on September 28.
Raising awareness can start with one family, but in order to see real change, it takes a city!
